If you have a family member or friend lacks the mental capacity to manage their own affairs, our Court of Protection solicitors can provide practical and personal advice to ensure their best interests are put first.
If the person affected has already made a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and appointed an Attorney to manage their affairs on their behalf, decisions can be made as per the details of the LPA. If an LPA hasn't been made, you’ll need to apply to the Court of Protection to become their Deputy.

We offer notary legal services through Andrew Mortimer, a partner and solicitor in Stone King who also practises as a Notary Public. He deals with all types of clients – private individuals, businesses, charities and schools.
As a Notary Public, our primary role is to authenticate documents and facts for use outside England and Wales. We also arranges apostilles and consular legalisation which many countries require to verify his status as the attesting notary.

The client and lawyer will agree on the hourly rate before getting started with the case.
STANDARD HOUR RATE
$500
A flat fee is offered if your case is relatively simple or routine such as a will or an uncontested divorce.
PREMIUM HOUR RATE
$750
We will formally update you on progress of costs, both incurred and anticipated, on a monthly basis.
